I am an Audio Book lover as I have a lot of things that I do and I find listening to books while exercising or doing mundane tasks ensures that I don't miss out on great books, LIKE the Orchid Thief.

I haven't finished yet, right in the middle of it and I am loving every minute of it.

A True story about a man so possessed by his passion for Orchids that he spends his life and money entirely on them! The book extends to others with Orchidelirium and Susan Orlean's account is wonderful. " John Laroche, is her main focus, an offbeat character with a huge orchid collection who joins a group of Seminole Indians to steal orchids from the Fakahatchee Strand, a 63,000-acre preserve in southwest Florida, a crime he was arrested and tried for.

The book is filled with obscure Orchid information and stories and I love Susan Orlean's weaving of place, people and OHHHHHHH those flower descriptions!!!!! Just MAGICAL!
