Language of Flowers Oracle ~
Someone may be secretly in love with you! A love you thought long~gone may return soon and this wont just mean romantic love, but also friendships which inspired deep feelings of love within you or even things which you held great passion for.
A change for the better in your ability to make money, attain a more secure position or even a promotion of some sort could be indicated.
Be very careful of becoming too materialistic, holding on to what you really do not need or being greedy because it will backfire on you.

Gardening Notes ~
Often referred to as un~killable, they are very easy to grow in most conditions. They do prefer sunlight, regular watering and feeding to produce abundant flowers. You can lift and divide via root division in winter which will not only create more plants but keep your planting neat and manageable. Deadhead quickly to stop seeding as you do need to be mindful of where you plant them and how they are managed as they can become a weed and a problem for our bush land.

Remaining optimistic, obtaining a victory, in being successful in a hard or long drawn out issue of conflict and most importantly will offer you ways to increase your personal vitality.

The Language of Flowers Oracle ~
Success is indicated as it a boost in resources. You are being warned to watch over your personal energy because although there is almost an abundance of it, you could waste it or let others zap too much from you.

Gardening Notes ~
Oh so easy to grow and can actually take over if you are not careful. they will self~seed everywhere! Most types are edible and make a very yummy peppery addition especially in summer salads when they are at their peek.

My photo here shows Nasturtium growing wild along the shore of the Lake near my home last night. I would not advise eating any found like this as councils do spray with pesticides.

They don't like frost or very cold areas but will tolerant shade exceptionally well. Best results are in well draining sunny positions.

Botanical History & Traditions ~
Originating in Peru, the Incas referred to Nasturtium as 'Golden Nuggets' due to their role in an almost Indiana Jones style legend of stolen gold, mountain chases, a vengeful God and a good man protecting what was right. Along the way Nature stepped in and disguised hidden gold as bright yellow Nasturtiums so it wouldn't be taken by Spanish Conquistadors and so it was eventually returned to the Incas.

The name 'nasturtium' translates from Latin as 'twisted nose' referring to it's rather strong and perhaps not so nice scent.

Now this is one tradition I personally practice ~ plant three red nasturtiums (some traditions call for black) to ensure protection unwanted visitors do not set foot in your home. I once lived in an apartment without a garden and had three small hanging baskets of bright red nasturtiums at my doorway, perfect!

May Nature bless you always and may you in turn always be a Blessing to Nature,

In finding the middle and fair ground in a situation. Orchid Tree will also help you understand the steps needed to transition from one place to another with greater ease. Those working with change will also find support with this magnificent wise plant.

The Language of Flowers Oracle ~
Change is inevitable and you are being guided to remain fair and keep your emotions in check at the moment. The outcome you are seeking needs to be fair to all, if not, things may in fact not go in your favour. What is it that you are truly seeking?
The challenge presented is always injustice, unfairness and imbalances the Orchid Tree is indicated in any oracle reading or message. This doesn't just apply to to external forces on you. Butterfly Tree asks you to look at yourself and your actions, thoughts and plans more carefully and be true in seeking pure harmony for all.

Gardening Notes ~
This image is one I took on my phone on one of my evening walks of Bauhinia ร— blakeana and it is one of
There is a house near my Lake which is not only home to two small Orchid Trees but this stunning beauty on the footpath. This is what I adore so much about gardening legacies, the continuance of the love of those gardeners before us.
Apart from the breath~takingly pretty flowers, I have always been fascinated with their bilobed leaves. In Australia they flower from February to November (late summer through to late spring), with the peak flowering time in September to October (early to mid spring).
This particular Hong Kong Orchid Tree is easily at the top end of the possibly height these trees attain ( about 9 ~ 10 metres ) and as you can see, is covered in orchid~like flowers.
As a tropical plant, they will do very in warmer climates and are fairly tolerant of hot and exposed conditions. (This tree is certainly in such a spot). Not really suitable for cooler areas and need protection from frost. They are ok in drier soils but do need very good watering in hotter months.

Botanical History Notes ~
Bauhinia ร— blakeana was discovered by a French Catholic Missionary of the Paris Foreign Missions around 1880, on the coast near Pok Fu Lam.
Stephen Troyte Dunn made the first scientific description and assigned it to the genus Bauhinia in 1908. He named the tree in honour of Sir Henry and Lady Blake in his paper featuring his description referring to Sir Henry Blake, British Governor of Hong Kong, from 1898 to 1903.
Bauhinia ร— blakeana was adopted as the floral emblem of Hong Kong in 1965 and has appeared on Hong Kong's coat of arms, flag and coins since 1997.

Opportunities for holidays, rest, as well as renewal and even beginnings is surfacing for you.

Gardening Note ~
So easy to grow in most warmer climates. They do not like the cold and prefer a war sunny spot for best growth. I've always grown mine from the cuttings and found that although you can just stick them in the ground, for the best and strongest growth, dry them out in a cool dry place for 6 weeks and then plant on top of a fish in sandy soil or you could just use Seasol :)
Flower Lore ~
Oh there are so many wondrous histories connected with Frangipani. Two of my favourites which I practice myself ~
you must wake them up each morning as some Asian Monks do by gentle knocking on them.
Another, from South America, is to always plant them at the front of cemeteries or your home so that evil spirits are confused by their scent and pass by.

May Nature Bless you always,

FLOWER OF THE DAY ~ โTuberose (Polyanthus tuberose)

Tuberose WEBCARD new

Will Assist You in:
Finding your focus and sticking with it. Tuberose supports those who are finding it hard to stick with their path by showing creative ways to enjoy the everyday and it also assists those looking to inspire desire and passion ~ creative, romantic and sexual.

Language of Flowers Oracle:
Temptation for something rather dangerous but still pleasurable may be coming your way. You are warned to proceed carefully and be sure you are in possession of all the facts. There is a chance of deception.
Focus is required at present, don't drift off into daydreams and remember to stay true to your original desires and plans.
Creative projects have a greater scope for success at present and the next steps perhaps only thought out at this stage, should be actioned at this time.
The generosity shown now will have great benefit later. Conversely, if you accept the gifts of others, be aware that there may be strings attached which will pull on you later.

Flower Lore:
Tuberose has a beautiful entwined history with seduction, love and even death. In India it is a flower of Wedding celebration, used to ensure amorous feelings between the newlyweds. In France woman are warned not to wear it's perfume or experience it's fragrance after nightfall in case they fall under it's spell and become over amorous with any man who crosses their path.
A very popular funeral flower with the English Victorians, it came to actually symbolise death itself for a while and the superstition arose that one should never sit in a room alone with one for death would surely find you.
A perhaps more aligned to the real Language of Tuberose tradition is the giving of a single blossom to another to indicate your undying passion.

Gardening Notes:
Tuberose are native to Mexico and so do very well in similar climates. Plant bulbs in late Winter to early spring for Summer flowering. A night flower which adores full sun to grow well.

Flower of the Day ~ โ Jasmine (Jasminum officinale)

If you are on the Eastern seaboard of Australia, you may, like me, be experiencing the beautifully uplifting first flush of this powerfully healing and guiding flower. So it was no surprise that I selected Jasmine's card so often in readings over the past few days, that people kept mentioning Jasmine to me and I would notice other messages in written and visual form. The energy is very strong on the physical plane and so corresponding points will rise up to meet it. This also means that the energies, the gifts and blessings of this plant are more available for those who wish to work with it.

Jasmine new photo wecards

Will Assist You In:
Succeeding. Perhaps one of the best flowers in fact to align with if you are finding sticking with goals, promises, commitments or staying on course at all challenging. Very supportive of those who feel they have lost hope with something. Jasmine naturally attracts financial gain as well so is really good to have around if you need a boost. The flower is a powerful aphrodisiac and assists to attract love.

Language of Flowers Oracle:
The impossible may be within reach. A new point of view may be offered to unlock what has not been possible in the past. There is an indication of social gathers/celebrations. A chicory, promotion, step up seem very likely. Be very careful of losing sight of your original goals and thereby wasting valuable time on side projects which will waste your time. Exhaustion is very possible as there is a lot of choice coming up. Be very careful of becoming obsessional over something that is doing you no real good. Remember, you can do anything but that doesn't mean you have to do everything is the message of Jasmine.

Flower Traditions & Flower Lore:
For my Flowers of the Night Oracle lovers ~ an Indian story speak of a beautiful princess who was in love with Surya~Deva, the sun god. Unfortunately he was not interested in her at all. She tragically took her own life and after her ashes were spread over the ground, the Jasmine flower grew. It is said that the flowers refuse to open or be fragrant during the day because of their broken heart.
Jasmine has often been associated with love and in various traditions to attract love, heal love and also as an aphrodisiac. If you carry a piece of Jasmine it is said to attract money or physical love and dreaming of Jasmine or seeing it in a guided meditation is a very good sign that your luck is about to change for the better.
